02How we use it

We use your information to run the app: to show the lessons and tools that fit your week, to keep your information in sync, to answer questions you send to Dr. Chun, and to keep the service secure. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Ask Haja is a search tool. It matches what you type to Dr. Chun's lessons and glossary using code that runs in the app. It does not use artificial intelligence and does not send your question to an AI service.

03Partner access

If you invite a partner, they can see only the categories you switch on in Profile (for example appointments, saved questions, hospital bag, care team numbers, birth preferences and postpartum support plan). They can look but not change anything. They never see your journal, health readings, notes or photos. You can turn any category off, or remove your partner, at any time.

04Community and questions to Dr. Chun

Messages you post in Community chat are visible to other members. Please do not share anything there you would not want another member to see. Questions you send to Dr. Chun are read by Dr. Chun's team and may be used to choose topics for Live sessions. We will not publish your name with your question.

05Payments

The app is currently free to use. When paid memberships start, payments will be handled by Stripe. We will never see or store your full card number, only whether your membership is active and which plan you are on.

06Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers that help us run the app:

ProviderWhat they handleWhy
SupabaseAccount, synced app information, Community messages, questions to Dr. Chun, partner sharingDatabase, login and hosting of your information
VercelServing the website and app, with standard server logsHosting
Stripe (when memberships start)Payment details and subscription statusTaking payment

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

07Health and reproductive information

We take this seriously.Pregnancy information is sensitive, and some places have specific laws about reproductive and health data. We collect only what the features you use need. Your belly photos stay on your device. Information you type into journal entries, logs and Community chat is stored as described above, so please keep that in mind when deciding what to enter.

Empowering Pregnancy provides general education from Dr. Chun. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your own provider.

08Security

Information moves between your device and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our database restricts access so each member can read only their own information, plus what a partner has been invited to see. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

09Your choices

10Children

Empowering Pregnancy is for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top and tell members in the app.
